Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information [Registered company name] (“Vidico”, “we”) collects when you use the Vidico website, studio and editor, and what we do with it. By creating an account or using the service you accept this policy; please read it together with our Terms of Use.

01What we collect#

Depending on which parts of the service you use, we collect:

• Account information: the mobile number you sign in with and, if you choose to add them, your name, email address and business or brand details (such as brand name, logo and colours).
• Your content: the videos, images and audio files you upload; your answers to each style’s questions and any script or notes you write for an edit; and the edited videos and versions you make in the editor.
• Purchase information: the plan and credits you buy, the amount, time and status of each payment, and its transaction reference.
• Usage and technical information: what you do in the service (such as starting an edit or exporting from the editor), error reports, your IP address, browser and device type, and access times.
• Messages: what you send to support or write to the Vidico Assistant.

We do not collect your card details. Payment happens on Zarinpal’s secure gateway page; your card number, PIN and CVV2 never reach Vidico.

02Why we use it#

We use your information only to:

• make your edits, keep them in your studio and deliver the results to you;
• sign you in, including sending one-time codes by SMS;
• process and record payments and keep your credit balance;
• answer your messages and support requests;
• keep the service secure and prevent abuse and fraud;
• improve the service using aggregate usage statistics and error reports;
• send you messages about your account and edits, such as an edit being ready or a change to this policy.

We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for advertising. We never publish your videos or results as samples without your permission, and we do not use them to train AI models.

03AI processing#

Edits are made by the Vidico AI engine. To do that, the engine sends parts of your content, such as the transcript of the speech and still frames from the video, to AI processing services: for example to understand what the video is about, decide on the edit and create its visual and audio elements.

Only the part of your content needed for that step is sent, and we choose and configure these services so that they use the data only to perform that processing.

04Who we share it with#

We share your information only in these cases, and only as much as is needed:

• Zarinpal, our payment gateway: the amount and order reference, so the payment can be made and verified.
• Our SMS provider: your phone number and one-time code, so the sign-in code reaches you.
• Cloud servers: where the service runs and your files are stored.
• AI processing services: as described under “AI processing”.
• Legal authorities: when the law or an order from a competent judicial authority requires it.

05Where your information is kept#

Your information and files are stored and processed on cloud servers that may be located outside Iran, and the AI processing services may also be outside Iran. By using Vidico you agree to your information being transferred to and processed in these locations. Wherever it is kept, the protections in this policy apply.

06How long we keep it#

• Account and settings: for as long as your account is active.
• Videos and results: for as long as the edit is in your account. Deleting an edit deletes its videos and files too.
• Payment records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after your account is deleted.
• Backups and technical logs: deleted information is removed from these within 30 days.

07Seeing, correcting and deleting your information#

• You can see and correct your name, email and brand details at any time on your profile page.
• You can delete any edit from your studio; its videos and results are deleted with it.
• You can delete your whole account from your profile page. This deletes your account, videos, results and brand details, and any remaining credits are lost; only the payment records the law requires us to keep remain.
• For any other question or request about your information, email support@example.com.

08Cookies and browser storage#

Vidico uses your browser’s local storage, and in a few cases cookies, only to make the service work:

• to keep you signed in so you don’t have to sign in every time;
• to remember your preferences, such as language, dark or light theme, and upload and editor settings.

We use no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. Clearing your browser data signs you out and resets your preferences.

09Children#

Vidico is not designed for people under 18. If you are under 18, use the service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you learn that a child has given us information without that permission, contact us and we will delete it.

10Security#

Information travels encrypted (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers, access to it inside Vidico is limited to people who need it to provide the service, and signing in is only possible with a one-time code sent to your phone.

No method is completely safe: protect your phone and never share your sign-in code. Vidico staff will never ask for it. If you find a security issue, please tell us at support@example.com.

11Changes to this policy#

We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the latest change, and we will tell you about significant changes on the site or by SMS before they take effect.
